The Governor and Executive Council, at their meeting held on May 31, 2023, approved the Precept to hold a SPECIAL ELECTION for State Representative from Rockingham County District 1 (Northwood and Nottingham).
Filing Period: June 5-9, 2023. Candidates may file with the Town Clerks of Northwood and Nottingham on Monday June 5th or Tuesday June 6th ONLY during normal business hours OR candidates may file with the Secretary of State on any day Monday - Friday.
Primary Election: August 1, 2023
Special Election: September 19, 2023
