The Governor and Executive Council, at their meeting held on June 14, 2023, approved the Precept to hold a SPECIAL ELECTION for State Representative from Grafton County District 16 (Enfield).
Filing Period: June 19-23, 2023. Candidates may file with the Town Clerk of Enfield on Monday June 19th or Tuesday June 20th ONLY during normal business hours OR candidates may file with the Secretary of State on any day Monday - Friday.
Special Election: August 22, 2023

Democratic: David Fracht, Enfield (PO Box 1065) 03748 (General Election votes 495 - WINNER)
Republican: John P. Keane, Enfield (PO Box 1233) 03748 (General Election votes 194)
Representative elect Fracht was sworn into office by the Governor and Executive Council on September 6, 2023.
