Coos County District 6 (January 23, 2024)

The Governor and Executive Council, at their meeting held on October 4, 2023, approved the Precept to hold a SPECIAL ELECTION for State Representative from Coos County District 6 (Bean's Grant, Bean's Purchase, Chandler's Purchase, Crawford's Purchase, Cutt's Grant, Gorham, Green's Grant, Hadley's Purchase, Low & Burbank's Grant, Martin's Location, Pinkham's Grant, Randolph, Sargent's Purchase, Shelburne, Success, Thompson & Meserve's Purchase).

Filing Period: October 9-13, 2023.  Candidates may file with the Town Clerk on Monday October 9th or Tuesday October 10th ONLY during normal business hours OR candidates may file with the Secretary of State on any day Monday - Friday.

Primary Election: December 5, 2023

Special Election: January 23, 2024

      Republican:

Representative elect Murphy was sworn into office by the Governor and Executive Council on January 31, 2024.
