Registration Deadlines
The registration deadlines listed below are for the 2024 State Elections.
NEW HAMPSHIRE PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY –January 23, 2024.
Last day to change your party affiliation prior to the Presidential Primary – October 6, 2023. You can change your party affiliation at your local clerk’s office before the deadline.
Last day to change your party affiliation prior to State Primary Election Day - June 4, 2024
Last day to register to vote before Primary Election Day - The supervisors of the checklist must be in session for the correction of the checklist at some suitable place in the city or town between 6 to 13 days prior to the election. Please check with your clerk's office for the time and place of the meeting in your town or city.
STATE PRIMARY ELECTION DAY - September 10, 2024- unregistered voters may register and vote on this day.
Last day to register to vote before General Election Day - The supervisors of the checklist must be in session for the correction of the checklist at some suitable place in the city or town between 6 to 13 days prior to the election. GENERAL ELECTION DAY- November 5, 2024 - A person qualified to vote who is not registered, may register and vote on this Election Day at the polling place for the town or city ward where the person is domiciled.
