**Filings to be made at the Town or City Clerk's Office where
candidate is domiciled. All other filings to be at the Secretary of
State's Office. Filings made with the Secretary of State on the last

INCOMPATIBLE OFFICES: No person shall file declarations of candidacy or
primary petitions for nomination at the primary for incompatible offices.
See RSA 655:10 for incompatible offices.
FOR ALL CANDIDATES AND POLITICAL ORGANIZATIONS FILING
DECLARATIONS OF INTENT:
(For individuals who intend to be a candidate in the general election from a
political organization and for political organizations who wish to have the names of
their candidates placed on the general election ballot) (RSA 655:17-1, 17-c, 40)
All candidates MUST pay the administrative assessment fee AND
file the required nomination papers.
Declarations of Intent for ALL OFFICES and POLITICAL
ORGANIZATIONS shall be filed at the Secretary of State's Office
between June 2 - 11, 2010. Filings made on last day of filing
period MUST be in person by candidate.

Filing Deadlines for Nomination Papers:
August 11, 2010 - Last day to submit signed nomination papers to Supervisors of the
Checklist in each town or city
September 1, 2010 5:00 p.m. - Supervisors must have nomination papers certified for
candidates
September 8, 2010 5:00 p.m. - Last day to file certified nomination papers with the
Secretary of State's Office
(Nomination papers must be grouped by municipality when filed with the Secretary of
State's Office)
*1,500 from each congressional district. Nomination
papers for all other offices must be signed and dated by registered voters domiciled in the district
from which the voter is a candidate. All nomination papers must be dated in the
year 2010.
