U.S. Small Business Administration
Q & A with SBA: Starting and operating your own business can be exciting and invigorating, but it can also be overwhelming. A business development specialist from the U.S. Small Business Administration will be at the Secretary of State Corporation Division Office (25 Capitol Street, 3rd floor Concord, NH) to address your concerns, direct you to the appropriate resources and help get you started in the right direction. Listed below is the schedule for May.
No appointment is necessary. The U.S. Small Business Administration and its resource partners in New Hampshire—the NH Small Business Development Center; SCORE, “Counselors to America’s Small Business”; and the Women’s Business Center are here to help you. In addition, there are numerous state offices and local organizations that deliver business assistance. Visitors will discover how SBA supports small businesses through financial assistance, training, counseling; federal procurement opportunities and other programs that help small businesses start, grow and succeed. Business owners and entrepreneurs can get answers to their questions about credit and borrowing and other resources to help them access credit. Visit the SBA Web page at www.sba.gov to learn about the programs offered by the SBA and find links to extensive resources, www.sba.gov/international, www.sba.gov/services, www.sba.gov/training and www.sba.gov/vets.
