BOARD OF AUCTIONEERS AGENDA

Legislative Office Building Room 307, Concord, NH

January 11, 2010 9:00 a.m.

1. Call to order the public meeting of the NH Board of Auctioneers with a Roll Call of members present.

2. Authorize the public session minutes of December 7, 2009.

3. 9:15 a.m. – Draper Auction Academy is requesting approval to educate individuals pertaining to the laws and rules of auctioneering for the purpose of establishing business in NH - Mr. Robert Mullen will present an overview of the licensing curriculum for Draper Auction Academy.

4. 10:30 a.m. – Anthony Blenkinsop, the Boards new liaison to the Attorney General’s office, will be introducing himself to the Board today.

5. Authorize the application of Alan Chambers for an auctioneer’s license.

6. Authorize the application of Robert A. Healy for an auctioneer’s license.

7. Authorize to remove for discussion the tabled application of Rod Sanders from the 12/7/09 meeting:

The Board on motion of Frank L. Eaton, seconded by Jay T. St. Jean voted to remove from the table, the license application of Rod Sanders which was previously tabled at the November 2, 2009 Auctioneers Meeting. After discussion and review of the Attorney General’s Office interpretation of RSA 311B, it is confirmed that Rod Sanders must either get two recommendations from FL licensed auctioneers or retake the NH Auctioneers Exam to be approved by the Board for a license. Therefore, on motion of Jay T. St. Jean, seconded by Frank L. Eaton, the Board voted to table Rod Sanders request for a NH Auctioneers license.

8. Authorize the application of Gregory J. Walsh for an auctioneer’s license.

9. Authorize to accept and distribute the January 2010 Newsletter.

10. Authorize to discuss in non-public session, the complaint submitted by Jamie Mares.

11. Authorize to discuss in non-public session, the complaint submitted by Arthur Tucker.

12. Authorize to discuss in non-public session, the complaint submitted by William J. Noonan.

13. Authorize a motion to go into non-public session to discuss the complaints for items #10 through #12 above.

Roll call vote to get into nonpublic session to discuss matters under RSA 91-A, specifically, matters which would likely adversely affect the privacy of individuals and or matters in which litigation has been threatened against the Board.

14. Authorize a motion to come out of non-public session.
