Assistance to City and Town Clerks for
Municipal Vital Records Preservation

Dear Clerk:

The New Hampshire Department of State and the Vital Records Improvement Fund Advisory Committee are pleased to announce the availability of grants for up to $10,000 to support municipal vital records assessments, storage, and preservation.  Approximately $1,000,000 from the Vital Records Improvement Fund will be distributed statewide to city and town clerks in state FY 07 (July 1, 2006 - June 30, 2007).  It is anticipated that every municipality that applies will receive some level of funding support.
