The Governor and Executive Council convened for a special meeting at 10:00 a.m. with Councilor St. Hilaire, Councilor Sununu, and Councilor Wieczorek present in person.  Councilor Burton, and Councilor Wheeler were present via telephone conference.




The Governor asked that those councilors participating by telephone identify themselves and identify anyone else who is physically present with them at the location from which they are participating.


Councilor Burton was participating by telephone from the Grafton County Commissioners Office.  He identified himself and indicated that he was alone.   Councilor Wheeler was participating by telephone from his home at 523 Mason Rd, Milford, NH.  He identified himself and indicated that he was alone. 




                                DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

#1           The Governor and Council on motion of Councilor Burton, seconded by Councilor Wieczorek, authorized the request of the Bureau of Construction to enter into a contract with Pike Industries Inc., Belmont, NH, for 13.4 miles of inlaying and/or overlaying Interstate 93, and related interchange ramps from Exit 36 (Franconia) to Exit 42 (Littleton), on the basis of a low bid of $7,670,840.69.  (2)Further a contingency in the amount of $767,084.07 for payment of latent conditions, which may appear during the construction of the project.  Effective upon G&C approval through June 20, 2014.  100% Federal Funds. 





The Next regular Governor and Executive Council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at the Hampton Beach State Park Seashell Complex, Hampton, NH.
