request to enter into a grant with the University of NH, Office of Sponsored
Research to assist in the promotion and advancement of Integrated Pest
Management practices in NH, in the amount of $39,620.86. Effective upon G&C

DEPARTMENT OF CULTURAL RESOURCES
The Governor and Council acted as follows:
#13 Authorized Division of Libraries to accept and expend a
grant in the amount of $1,500 from the Cogswell
Benevolent Trust, Manchester for the Summer Reading Experience. Effective upon G&C

#14 Authorized NH Film & TV Office to enter into a sole source contract with Dot.Org., Inc., Charlotte, NC, for a digital film library that is fully integrated with project and client management and driven by a web-based response system in the amount of $22,400. Effective upon G&C approval through June 30, 2007 with the option to renew annually through December 31, 2012 subject to G&C approval. (2)Further Authorized advanced payment of $8,000 to be made at the initiation of the project. #16 The Governor and Council on motion of Councilor Griffin, seconded by Councilor Burton Authorized the request to issue a warrant from funds not otherwise appropriated and the State Treasurer to issue checks in the amount of $9,019.63 to the rightful owners of abandoned or unclaimed funds. 100% General Funds.

The Governor and Council acted as follows:
#17 Authorized the salary increase as

Board from a 2-year terms of office between

entitled “The Childhood Trust Forensic Interviewer Training” for professionals
involved in the county multidisciplinary Child Advocacy Center investigation
teams scheduled for April 17-21, 2006 and is to be held at Sheraton Harborside Hotel and Conference Center in Portsmouth, NH,
at a cost not to exceed $22,810.
(2)Further Authorized to enter into an agreement with the Sheraton Harborside Hotel and
#21 Authorized to conduct two multidisciplinary trainings for
professionals from around the state entitled “Living on the Edge: Working with
Families Impacted by Substance Abuse” will be held on April 20, 2006 at the
Holiday Inn, Concord, NH, at a cost not to exceed $9,067.80 and “Trauma and
Self Harming Behavior in Adults” will be held on May 23, 2006 at CR Sparks in
Bedford, NH at a cost not to exceed $9,503.40.
These figures reflect the anticipated printing costs and supplies,
presenter fees, hotel facility costs and anticipated printing registration fees
collected from up to 150 attendees at each of the trainings. (2)Further Authorized to accept and expend
registration fees for each of the two trainings above, in the amount of $35
from each of an estimated 150 participants at each training,
for a total amount not to exceed $10,500 to help defray the costs of these
trainings and facility expenses for the period of G&C approval through
