The Governor and Executive Council convened at 1:00 p.m. with all members present.

The Pardon Hearing for Ward Bird was held.

The following persons testified on behalf of Ward Bird.

Real Estate Agent Leon Parker

Richard Kinsman from the Boy Scouts

Reverend Kevin Van Brunt, and

Mrs. Virginia Bird

Melissa Smith, the Victim Witness Advocate from the Carroll County Attorney’s Office read a statement from Christine Harris.

There was no other testimony against Ward Bird.

The Governor and Council will deliberate on February 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
